The HBS Entrepreneurial Alumni Association (HBSEAA), in conjunction with the HBS Association of Northern California, is hosting its first West Coast Event at 6 PM in the evening on Wednesday, April 5, 2006.  The event is free to HBSEAA members.  This event will feature HBS Professor Bill Sahlman leading a panel discussion with several prominent venture capitalists and entrepreneurs on the topic of Effective Company Building.

The panel will feature:

• Camille Samuels, Managing Director, Versant Ventures
• Mike Cassidy, CEO, XFire
• Jason Green, General Partner, Emergence Capital Partners

Professor Sahlman and our panel will discuss the characteristics of effective executive leadership and governance, the lessons they have learned from involvement in dozens of boards, and the common mistakes made by management teams.
